         Title: Blend Of The Bayou   
    Categories: Seafood, Vegetables, Cheese, Mushrooms, Breads   
         Yield: 8 servings   
       
         8 oz Cream cheese; in cubes   
         4 tb Butter; divided   
         1 lg Onion; chopped   
         2    Celery ribs; chopped   
         1 lg Bell pepper; chopped   
         1 lb Cooked U-40 shrimp; peeled,   
              - deveined   
        12 oz (2 cans) crabmeat; drained,   
              - flaked, cartilage removed   
    10 3/4 oz Can cream of mushroom soup;   
              - undiluted   
       3/4 c  Cooked rice   
     4 1/2 oz Jar sliced mushrooms;   
              - drained   
         1 ts Garlic salt   
       3/4 ts Hot pepper sauce   
       1/2 ts Cayenne pepper   
       3/4 c  Shredded cheddar Cheese   
       1/2 c  Crushed butter-flavored   
              - (Ritz) crackers (abt 12)   
              Thin sliced green onions;   
              - opt   
       
     Set oven @ 350ºF/175ºC.   
        
     In a saucepan, cook and stir cream cheese and 2   
     tablespoons butter over low heat until melted and   
     smooth.   
        
     In a large cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, saute   
     onion, celery and green pepper in remaining butter until   
     tender. Stir in shrimp, crab, soup, rice, mushrooms,   
     garlic salt, pepper sauce, cayenne and cream cheese   
     mixture.   
        
     Combine Cheddar cheese and cracker crumbs; sprinkle over   
     top. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.   
     If desired, garnish with green onions before serving.
