Mind you,        this was BC where it's easier to get imported cars from the east        without having to transport them across provinces.               Back in Detroit's heyday, it must have been convenient being right        across the border - I remember reading about Canadian-branded GM cars        in the 1980s. Now, with American cars being built everywhere, not so        much.                            ...
