   You're right that they put too much color on everything. Technicially we all   
   are color-blind. There's no solid way to tell what color people are just by   
   looking at them, and asking them doesn't prove anything either. The only sure   
   thing is a DNA test, and we know that statisticians aren't conducting those.

   Setting bail based on income sounds like a good idea, but I honestly don't   
   know what was wrong with the original system. My state rep said "The cash bail   
   system wasn't fair to poor people," but the crimes they are accused of aren't   
   fair to the crime victims.

   That's not fair at all, but that's how it goes sometimes.
