   I can remember back when the discussion was plasma vs. LED there were   
   people who preferred one over the other because they used less power and/or   
   created less heat (making their AC run more).  So, yeah, some consumers do   
   worry about that and, since they overall seem more worried about climate   
   change, I would expect left-leaning folks to worry more about it.
