   Not sure about the unions (since you are getting them off the street) but I   
   agree with the privatized prisons.  That should never have been allowed to   
   happen.  Things that make them money, and generate kickbacks for   
   politicians, are always going to come before what is good for the public   
   and the incarcerated.

   The more police are not doing a very good job of arresting them, and the   
   prisons are not doing a very good job of keeping them incarcerated. Otherwise   
   the problem wouldn't be "why are they on the streets?"
