   I mentioned how we have more than 1 floor, but I told my wife "we can sleep   
   downstairs in the winter to stay warm." I'm serious about it, but she has this   
   "let's just pay the bill" attitude.

   That's outrageous. When I first moved into this house I was seeing like $150   
   in the winter and about $70 in the summer. Now it's around $300 every month,   
   no matter how much gas or electric we use (it's all on 1 bill.)   
      
   I'm ready to put my foot down (and up the electric company's butt!)
