That's not the question: the answer does not help to solve the problem.
In other words, if the VAX C RTLs, which are more than 30 years old, are
not compiled on Alpha and IA64, they will not be compiled for x86. And,
your code should not rely on such old RTLs.

The question is: What in your object modules - that is in the
corresponding sources - requires something from these translated images?
The answer will help to remove the dependencies and to port the
application to x86.
