I'm still surprised by the number of young (well, younger than me)
people at last week's LLVM conference that know about VMS.  One of the
keynotes was the compiler team lead from Arm talking about rehosting
their compiler toolchain to LLVM.  It was almost the same story was VMS
but he said "I used VMS in the past and you had a tougher time".

And one young person (under 30) tracked me down to ask all sorts of
questions of VMS.
