Peace and quiet! - Isn't it a bright blessing that comp.os.vms is SPAM
free, now that Google has exited the Newsgroups building?

I use the Eternal September feed for Thunderbird, and also a parallel
NewsGroupDirect (NGD) Feed in my venerable Forte Agent, for comparison
purposes.

I disabled all Kill Filters in Agent, to check that there is in fact
no SPAM via NGD, since the Eternal September feed does such a good job
filtering SPAM.

I have not detected any differences in the two feeds, and I like to
keep my NGD feed, since their retentions go way back.

Is that other comp.os.vms collegiates experience? - in comp.os.vms and
other text discussion newsgroups?

comp.os.vms is back to pure signal (other than the occasional
dickering as to what constitues signal :-) )

A bright blessing, indeed.
