   Years ago when I first setup paypal to make payments they deposited two small   
   amounts in my bank account. Once I confirmed the amounts, something like 6   
   cents and another for 8 cents I was able to make payments from my bank account.   
      
   I haven't used paypal for years but that was the only time I saw anything like   
   that.
