   Strictly speaking, they aren't empty messages in Telegram. But apparently they   
   aren't interpreted as text either.     
      
   Perhaps similar to Telegrams emoji's?   
      
   But how often do you anticipate changing the Telegram Group title or Photo?   
      
   It's likely not worth the effort.
