   That's a side effect of 'bad things' occurring in two separate copies of   
   Windows.  My wife's Thunderbird in the XP SP2 VirtualBox (vBox) client   
   developed some weirdness in the newsgroup access to my JamNNTPd server, so I   
   blew away that account.  This forced me read & write to my BBS machine, via a   
   RDP connection to its vBox on my other PC (under the house) using a Remote   
   Desktop Connection (RDC) session, using this PC's RDC tool in Windows 8.1.   
      
   With that mode, the mouse event lag was so bad that I have had to resort to   
   using keyboard shortcuts and keystroke navigation.  Therefore no mousey-mousey   
   in Windows 98SE's GUI, but I do get to use GoldEd again with its slightly   
   better tagline collection than the one in SemPoint.  :)
