   Perry vetoed the funding bill, which was his perogative as the governor of   
   Texas. Lehmberg was pissed off about that, but there was nothing she could   
   do about it (except bitch to high heaven). But none of this was the reason   
   for what happened when she was arrested for drunk driving with an open   
   container (vodka) in the car. Perry asked her to resign her position so   
   that the office she represented to the public would be cleared as the   
   laughing stock of the entire country, not just Texas.   
      
    TR> After the funds were discontinued, 10 people were cut from the unit   
    TR> (re- shuffled to other taxpayer-paid positions) and the unit had to   
    TR> get funds from elsewhere within the county's own revenue.   
      
    TR> By the way....this dui arrest of Lehmberg's didn't just happen within   
    TR> the last few days...this happened back in April of 2013. She had an   
    TR> open bottle of vodka in her car while driving. Her blood alcohol   
    TR> level was .23! She was verbally abusive. Assaultive. And had to be   
    TR> put in restraints.   
      
   Her blood alcohol level was .24, which is 3 times the legal limit of .08   
   here in Texas.  The law doesn't distinguish between elected official and   
   jose' from anywhere in Texas.   
      
    TR> As a person who headed a unit that had (back then) state-wide power   
    TR> of arrest and prosecution....that brought her under the oversight of   
    TR> the state of Texas, and whatever funding the unit recieved from the   
    TR> state came under the veto power of the governor.   
      
    TR> By the way....all you have to do to see the video of her behavior in

    TR> and it'll be available along with the article that comes up.   
      
   What a pig! Her drinking to such high alcohol blood levels must be because   
   of her being such a pig.   
      
    TR> This is political revenge, pure and simple. Typical democrat tactics   
    TR> of public destruction of a possible 2016 opponent before-hand.   
      
   And nothing more.   
      
    TR> Tie Perry up in a felony court case...make loud noises in the press   
    TR> and broadcast media of his `pending criminal trial'....and he goes   
    TR> away as a 2016 candidate.   
      
    TR> Its a tactic the democrats are getting better and better at. They   
    TR> `hand-pick' the republican's candidate FOR them, and the republicans   
    TR> fall for it every time.   
      
   What do they do when something they've conjurred up to make such a fuss   
   over nothing backfires in their face?
