Greetings TIM!               RC>>> Just because this woman is a Democrat doesnt mean she should stay        RC>>> in office.               JD>> What does her political pesuasion have to do with it other then the        JD>> fact that Perry is not a democrat?               RW>> Here in Texas, that is how the un-electable Democrats fight        RW>> political setbacks. As they say on the political battlefield here,        RW>> game, set, match.               RW>> When it's all said and done, she'll be looking for a place to live,        RW>> because she'll be a ship-wreck of a drunk looking for a place to        RW>> live.               TR> Actually, they (the Texas democrats) probably don't care a damn        TR> about her. She's just a drunk. But she's a useful idiot, in that        TR> she will be the means by which the democrats torpedo Perry, the        TR> same way they torpedoed Tom Delay.              Delay was aquitted of all charges against him and is a person to deal       with in his own sphere of influence, east Texas. Texas law says that any       politician charged with a felony crime will be relieved of their place in       office. Delay can return to gov't service when he wants to, if ever.              Perry has reversed the tables on the Democrats by making this appear to be       bogus and the New York Times is behind him by stating in newsprint that       these charges are bogus. So, what it looks like is that the Democrats had       this one backfire in their face and Perry will be swept in the limelight       and given a great opportunity to continue his quest for the Presidency.              He probably will be like a comet with a lot of early attention, but       eventually lose out to a more appealing candidate, but at least he has       been given about 60-90 days of 15 minutes worth of fame.               TR> They'll try to drag this out in the courts, keep it in the worst        TR> possible headlines their media friends can come up with, well        TR> past any chances Perry might have to get in the 2016 race.              Oh, he'll be in the race alright, but he'll be an early dropout as someone       more appealing to the voters.               TR> As usual, the democrats will almost `hand-pick' the republican        TR> opponent, and run someone they think can beat them easily. They        TR> typically ruin anyone politically they think could defeat their        TR> candidate before hand, so as to eliminate anyone they think        TR> might reverse some of their favorite give-aways.              The Democrats in this red state don't have much of a chance at winning       any political office that has any chance to steer Texas in the wrong       direction. Even Wendy Davis has taken a 'hands off' approach to this and       has said that Democrats should allow the courts to do as they will.               TR> Thats why they destroyed Herman Caine, and a few others in 2012.              And that was too bad because Caine was a very viable candidate for the       office.               TR> Perry is their target today. They have to eliminate anyone they        TR> think can defeat them in 2016.              Good luck with that. Everyone, including some highly skilled news media,       know how this will work out.                      Have a day!               R\%/itt - K5RXT              --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-31012       --- D'Bridge 3.99        * Origin: South-Texas Area Hub - Gulf Coast Backbone (1:387/22)    |
