OTOH, there was a science fiction story quite a few years ago, in which a woman went back to the 1950s. She became a Science Fiction writer, using the style of various great SF writers. When some of them became suspicious because she was writing stories they had intended to one of them investigated. When he confronted her she showed him her pocket calculator.
