I was a bit of a late starter to the computer world, I didn't get my first PC 
unil like 1990 I think. It was a Packard Bell 286 with 1 meg of RAM and 
MS-DOS. It was pretty crappy, and I think it was refurbished. We would often 
get WDC Adapter failures and have to reboot the PC over and over until it 
booted properly again. A nightmare, and yet I still miss those days. Funny how
we don't notice our own insanity. ;)
