Didn't get any complaints, so I       figured must have something semi-right. I'm hoping to get my AUP       re-enabled and upgrade to the latest v7.               -> Ed "DOC" Koon - Sysop              -> ... There's a few things       I've got working flakey... I just appeared to get my tic files working.       I don't know enough on the tic format to know if the problem lies on my       uplink's processor, a configuration, or pxw's import. It really don't       matter though, because I've used TICK (the original program) and had no       issues with marc's system before, nor did I have problems with robert's       system. Now, most of Robert's tic files auto-import fine, while marc's       act like they don't even exist... No errors, no messages, just acts like       there are no files in the tic directory! I just wrote a small pascal       program that does a few things. It looks for a line that says "Seenby       1:396/60" and if its there, it basically deletes that line. It also       looks for the password line (Pw password), if it finds it, it changes       the password to upper case just in case (why oh why my uplinks all use       lowercase and pxconfig only allows uppercase!) Last, it renames the       .tic file to all lower case. Don't ask why, but these are the only       differences I can find in robert and marc's tic files... I have a few       other minor issues... When compiling the nodelist on windows/xp, it       crashes with a divide by zero at the end, on windows 8, it can compile       all the way without errors... Don't know...                                           --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: KF5QEO's Shack (1:396/60)    |
