   Not experience with the real thing, but BSD 2.11 is the most complete Unix   
   experience   
   you can get from such deployment in my opinion. It has the tools we all know   
   and love.   
      
   It makes one think thinks through when you realize tools we use on Linux and   
   modern   
   BSDs were already in use back then.
