   Not sure how the term "bugs bunnies" is to be helpful.  :/  But I think I have   
   a strategy to minimize the blue screen event to happen again.   
      
   First, I'll investigate if irfanview has a new version available and use that.   
      
   Maybe I had too many tabs open in TB or something that reduced available RAM.   
      
   The first sign of problems was when I would open an image as an attachment   
   from email and go directly to using irfanview instead of saving the attachment   
   first before I started to edit it - and irfanview would lock up or go into   
   "not responding" mode.   
      
   But if I save the email attachment as a clearly defined file first, and then   
   launch irfanview, then the lockup doesn't seem to happen.   
      
   Maybe it's a combination of things that ultimately triggered a blue screen   
   error.
