   You don't need to be the operator of a bbs to launch an echo.      
   Users can be creators/moderators too.   
      
   In your case, you should be able to communicate with the Elist     
   bot with netmail. I would think that Vertrauen has fidonet     
   netmail available to you.   If you are not sure, ask the sysop.

   Then, you can send the initial MOD ADD message that you need to     
   get started.   ;)
