   The USB charging cable seems that it is for charging only.   
   I plugged it in the XP PC but nothing showed up in Windows Explorer with that   
   wire, but the USB wire for my earlier 3G phone showed up O.K. when I have used   
   it.   
   Microsoft Support article that I read long ago said USB connections weren't   
   available for Android.
