I had the Fitbit One for several years. I liked it because it was a step
counter that wasn't on your wrist, you could clip it to your belt or the
inside of a pocket and was basically out of the way.

When it came time to track sleep you used a soft wrist band and placed the
Fitbit One into that on your non-dominant wrist. It had a small OLED screen
and one button on it to show you your steps, stairs climbed, etc. I liked
the sleep tracking feature, though I'm not sure I got much out of it.

I really like the alarm clock feature of it, since you were wearing it on
your wrist it could vibrate when it was time to wake you up and be less
   likely to disturb your partner.

KW> I'll be sad when it dies, they haven't made them for a couple of
    KW> years.

That's what happened to mine, the battery no longer held a charge, and it
wasn't user replaceable. Now I have the Apple Watch, but it's much too bulky
   to wear to bed.
