But reading "The Home Computer       Wars" the other day, it left me with a slightly different feeling - an       admiration for the man's sheer determination to win in business, and his belief        in his own business "religion".              I tried to distill out of the book the components of The Religion (according to        the book, Jack called it this himself). It included a strong focus on lean       business (sounds very modern), reducing the number of layers of command,       expecting managers to "get involved" and not just manage. He was apparently       oft-quoted as saying "business is like sex. You have to be involved".              Just wondering if there are any other closet Jack admirers, and whether they       can shed any more light on Jack's business religion?       --- SBBSecho 3.10-Linux        * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 10/0 1 14/5 15/0 2 19/36 34/999 90/1 102/401 103/705       SEEN-BY: 104/115 106/201 114/224 702 705 706 116/18 123/140 128/2       SEEN-BY: 128/73 187 253 153/7715 214/22 218/0 1 210 215 401 410 520       SEEN-BY: 218/700 802 810 222/2 226/16 227/114 229/101 275 426 1014       SEEN-BY: 230/150 152 240/1120 5832 249/1 206 307 317 400 250/1 261/38       SEEN-BY: 261/100 266/512 267/155 275/100 282/1031 1056 291/1 111 298/25       SEEN-BY: 305/1 3 310/2 312/2 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 340/400 342/13       SEEN-BY: 342/200 396/45 640/1321 712/848 801/161 189 2320/105 3005/1       SEEN-BY: 3634/12 5020/1042       PATH: 103/705 218/700 261/38 15/0 317/3 229/426           |
