WWIVnet is also alive and well, so is       GateNet, ACnet. I am GateNet @1 and ACnet @1.              There are loads of nets out there and BBSs that have been around a long time.       My BBS for instance has been online since 1980. First started on a Commodore       PET 4016 with 2 Commodore 8050 duel drives and 2 Commodore SFD-1001 drives and       a 300bps modem. telnet://thegatebbs.sytes.net (port 666) and       telnet://thegateb.synchro.net (port 23)       --- SBBSecho 3.06-Win32        * Origin: The Gate BBS * Cherryville, NC USA * (1:3634/27)    |
