Off the top of my head... I was doing this the other day.              In basic it goes:               10 open 15, 8, 15        15 rem go to root        20 print# 15, "/"        25 rem browse each in turn        30 print# 15, "/0:first"        35 print# 15, "/0:second"        40 close 15                     I have a very well commented basic program that creates a 3 level deep tree       that I used for testing and demonstrates directory walking. You have to use       it on a blank disk though because it will format it completely. I can give it       to you if you like.        It was written in basic 7 but I think it should work in 2.                     Daniel.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: Agency HUB, Dunedin - New Zealand | Fido<>Usenet Gateway (3:770/3)    |
