   Very interesting. I think a similar setup could work with a C64, through   
   the expansion port for example. Although I guess it's a little easier on   
   the Spectrum, at least no sprites to consider. So more work to do to   
   figure out what the screen should look like and output it via HDMI but   
   I'd assume it's doable.
