   If your talking multicolor pictures (not Hires, or any of the more modern   
   graphics modes), the obvious answer is Amiga Paint.   
      
   Download version 1.5 or 1.8 (1.4 is German only) from here:

   I think 1.8 has a "DOX" file on disk, go check out both to be sure.
