|    Experience with GSPC?    |
|    10 Apr 14 11:41:12    |
Just curious as to whether or not anybody here has any experience in       dealing with cats that have GSPC. I have a cat that I've had for about 7 years       now who, unfortunately, was allowed to develop a rather severe case over 6-12       months until treatment was available. Now that it's being treated, I'm having       problems keeping up with the different courses being tried due to economic       situations. He's been on feline amoxicillin 3 times now, twice with the same       dosage/frequency, and once with a stronger and longer term course. He's in a       load of pain, hides almost all the time now, can't eat, and is yelling randomly       and trying to stretch the pain out of his jaw. It's heartbreaking to see. The       only time he gets any relief is when he's on the feline prednisone that they       put him on along with the antibiotics. I'll admit, I'm pretty terrified it's       going to be lethal. Just wanted to know if anybody else had any experience       with this that they might be able to share to help me understand it a little       better. :|               -- guh up the effbomb down wif yr bad self              --- SBBSecho 2.26-OpenBSD        * Origin: Tinfoil Tetrahedron:telnet tinfoil.synchro.net8023 (1:282/1057)    |
