*** Quoting mark lewis from a message to Mike Roberts ***               MR> Does or has anyone had experience with their pets and seizures?               ml> the only one's i've ever had to deal with were heat-stroke type and        ml> reactions to meds that the docs injected...               ml> what, exactly, are you looking at?              Hi Mark..        Just checking to see if anyone had experiences and what they were with a        dog that has seizures. I have a 5 year old pug that has had 3 episodes over        the 5 years. Thankfully from what the vet says, that is not bad. I was just        wondering how others handled it and if they got better or worse or more        severe etc. The Vets at this point have kind of treated it lightly and that        may be the proper course since it has not been very common with him. Yet it        still happens. I have never had an animal that had/has seizures. First time        was very scary. But I still, even though rare, don't like to see the poor        thing go through it, but the 3 vets I have seen don't seem to think it's too        bad. I was just trying to learn a little more from experiences of others.              Have a Good One!       Mike              ... It's always darkest before you step on the cat.              --- Telegard v3.09.g2-sp4/mL        * Origin: The Holodeck telnet://holo.homeip.net (1:261/1381)    |
