   Ferral Cat question

   Hi Carol,

hehe.. you should see these feral guys here now.. Lulu, the largest of the
litter is happy to sit on my desk (or keyboard) and even snoots me when she
feels like it (rarely, but it does happen).

Leo, the only male in bunch is maybe a bit social with only Ron (oh, and with
Toby.. Leo likes to cuddle and fall asleep on Toby, our 10 yr. old lab haha).

When any company comes (daughter, etc.), they all skidaddle outside, and don't
come home 'til all have left

What's funny is Leo and Lulu both have the M marking on their faces like Main
Coon cats, and both of them have coats like Maine coons.. so their personality
differences from the other two don't surprise me much.. the other two are some
strange combo of alley-cat and wild animal Lol.. They avoid human contact from
all of us, at any cost. They come out when they want to meow in your face for
Food Lol... they still won't let you touch them at all.

I think that when you have true feral kitties, it's not the same as taking in
a stray.. These 4 and their mom were true feral kitties, from the stories the
people at the Ithaca Animal shelter told me.

   Take care,
   Janis
