Yeah, like we tell the teenagers, it's the best time of Your life! 8)

My experience with pugs is just a bit, So I can't speak for all owners of
pugs or even pugs in General. They are pugs, but they are different. Heck, My
first Newf was a drooler big time, as is the stereotype. He reminded You of
Hooch on turner and hooch. The second was as dry as a lab. Barney,
who had the trouble, would snore, and thats about it. Except when real hot,
and then he would weeze uncontrolably. But if kept cool, he was ok. The Two I
have now, are the same in the heat.. It is tough for them with the pushed in
face to breath in the heat. Did You guys down there, hear about the animal
control officer up here who caught 2 pugs that had escaped from their yard
and put them in the animal control van? The Van had no air conditioning, and
it was one of those hot days this summer we had. He went in to McDonalds to
get a cold drink for himself, it was so hot, and when he came back out, The
poor babies died of overheating. Many people support this officer, and I
don't want to see him lose his livelihood, but if anyone should know enough
to not leave a dog, especially the pug type, in a uncooled van, He should
have!! If I would have done it, and they called him on me, I would have been
in some trouble. Oh well that is another story, but I feel sorry for the
   woman who lost her puppies.

The Boyz take advantix now and unlike Barney, have no problems breathing at
all. So it just may depend on the sensitivity of the dog.
