They don't        >do to the "credits = saving" scheme. We simply get what we        >signed up for.              Yes, that's why I've hesitated to switch for the past 8+ years.       When noticably better deals start coming out they usually offer       a new plan that is close to as good and often cheaper than you       are currently paying.              RM> I assume you've changed the battery a few times?              AA>Actually, I had / have 3 batteries for it. The problem was        >that the previous owner damaged the USB charge port when she        >"stored" the USB cable connected to the Blackberry, wrapped the        >rest of the cable around the phone, and then shoved the whole        >thing into her purse!              AA>To get around that issue, it was a simple matter to get a        >couple of extra batteries and a charger. I got a bit lucky at        >first and got a couple of genuine batts and a genuine charger        >for only $35. I simply charge the batteries externally, and        >drop them in the phone when needed.              I see.. I guess it's a good work-around, and the price was right       for the batteries.              AA>The Q10 can operate on one battery for several days if only on        >cellular (and data is off). When data is enabled, the        >batteries only last 6 - 8 hrs at the most.              Supposedly my phone will sit on standby with nothing turned off       for over 200 hours on a full charge, but if the phone is in use       it will kill the battery in about 8 hours. (figures when new)       I think data usage kills the battery faster than talking on       the phone. I've never had a good opportunity to check most of       those claims but the way I use my phone I generally get 3 days,       sometimes 4 days, out of a charge. My phone is usually on for       about 12 hours a day, but only in use (data) for about 2 hours       and the rest of the time it's in Airplane mode to save battery       and to keep the phone quickly available if I need it and save       turning it on and off more than once a day. That also seems to       virtually eliminate Spam calls since my phone is so rarely able       to accept a call.              AA>This is the OEM battery that I purchased:              AA>https://www.ebay.ca/itm/205186404313              AA> ..maybe that seller has the model for your phone.              Hmm.. doesn't look good. I checked there plus at 3 other battery       sites and didn't find one for my phone, although it may be       listed in a different way than by the exact model number so       I'd have to check more carefully if I were seriously looking.       I know a couple of years ago I could find batteries from several       suppliers on Amazon, but not now..
