Daryl - did you check out the video? Just curious, since you didn't
actually mention anything related to it...

   JA> What's YOUR opinion? Why?

DS> The main argument is that "what groom would beat his bride to death
    DS> on their wedding night??".

Honestly I've never heard that! The main argument for it that I've always
heard is "God will not allow His people to suffer wrath." My thinking
has become, though, that 'tribulation' is not the same as "wrath of God."

DS> The pre-tribulation rapture leaves time for:

DS> 1) The Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ in Heaven.
DS> 2) The Marriage of The Church (The Bride) to Christ (The Groom).
DS> 3) The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb.

These are interesting, but the MOST interesting to me is the next one...

DS> 4) As per Jewish Wedding Custom, the Groom and Bride are in their
DS> chamber for 7 days (in this case, a week of year, the final 70th
DS> week of Daniel, as 483 of the 490 weeks of years were fulfilled
DS> when Christ entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday).

I agree about the 70th week of Daniel. I've never thought of it in
terms of wedding tradition though. Very interesting!

DS> 5) The Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl Judgments. Once the "peace treaty"
DS> is signed/confirmed, there'll only be 2520 days left before Christ
DS> returns to Earth...and rule by mortal man will end.

I think this is partly where I disagree. I don't see the seals as
God's Judgement. If I'm wrong, and you can show me in scripture, I'd
be very very interested to see that!

DS> Revelation 3:10 notes where Christ said "Because you have kept the
DS> Word of My Patience, I will keep you from the hour of tribulation
DS> that will come upon the world to try all flesh". As Jesus also noted
DS> in Matthew 24, "then shall come great tribulation, which has never
DS> been on the Earth before this time, nor shall ever be again".

My reading is that the "Great Tribulation" starts at the 3.5 year period,
not the begining of the 7 years.

In other words, the entire 7 years (70th week of Daniel) has been CALLED
the tribulation period in modern times, but the "GREAT TRIBULATION" starts
   with the Abomination of Desolation.

Again, if I'm wrong, please point me in the right direction! :-)

DS> If the Rapture and the Second Coming were at the same time, that
DS> would leave no one to populate the Millennial Kingdom on Earth. At
DS> the Rapture, the dead in Christ (from Pentecost to the Rapture,
DS> during The Church Age) will be raised first, then "in the twinkling
DS> of an eye" (less than 1/1000 of a second), the living believers, who
DS> have done "the one thing God required" (believed on The One He Has
DS> Sent (John 6:29, Acts 16:31), will be changed to immortal without
    DS> dying first.

DS> Immortals are like the angels...no sex for procreation of the
DS> species are needed. And, the immortal believers will now have a
DS> body like The Lord Jesus, which can:

My understanding is that the Rapture will occur NOT at the same time
as the Second Coming, but prior to it.

In other words, the 70th week starts and covenant is confirmed. 3-1/2
years later the AC is revealed and sits himself down as the messiah. This
starts the Great Tribulation where you take the mark or die. During this
time Christians will be killed (along with other people) for not bowing
down and worshipping the AC. Then at some point Jesus will return in
the air and call those out.

THEN the rest of the 70th week finishes, and Christ comes back to start
   the Milliniul Kingdom.

I shipped a bunch of your stuff - things I don't disagree with, but I
dont't think are germane specifically to WHEN the rapture occurs...

DS> Then, comes the saddest day in all of history...when all those who

   agreed :(

    DS> And, that's Bible Prophecy 101 for today. :)

   LOL
