Why?               The main argument is that "what groom would beat his bride to death       on their wedding night??".               The pre-tribulation rapture leaves time for:              1) The Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ in Heaven.       2) The Marriage of The Church (The Bride) to Christ (The Groom).       3) The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb.       4) As per Jewish Wedding Custom, the Groom and Bride are in their       chamber for 7 days (in this case, a week of year, the final 70th       week of Daniel, as 483 of the 490 weeks of years were fulfilled       when Christ entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday).       5) The Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl Judgments. Once the "peace treaty"       is signed/confirmed, there'll only be 2520 days left before Christ       returns to Earth...and rule by mortal man will end.               Revelation 3:10 notes where Christ said "Because you have kept the       Word of My Patience, I will keep you from the hour of tribulation       that will come upon the world to try all flesh". As Jesus also noted       in Matthew 24, "then shall come great tribulation, which has never       been on the Earth before this time, nor shall ever be again".               If the Rapture and the Second Coming were at the same time, that       would leave no one to populate the Millennial Kingdom on Earth. At       the Rapture, the dead in Christ (from Pentecost to the Rapture,       during The Church Age) will be raised first, then "in the twinkling       of an eye" (less than 1/1000 of a second), the living believers, who       have done "the one thing God required" (believed on The One He Has       Sent (John 6:29, Acts 16:31), will be changed to immortal without       dying first.               Immortals are like the angels...no sex for procreation of the       species are needed. And, the immortal believers will now have a        body like The Lord Jesus, which can:              A) Appear and disappear at will.       B) Go through solid walls and doors.       C) Eat and drink, though it apparently isn't necessary.       D) Never again be subjected to pain or the curse of sin (also note       the next paragraph).               Jesus, He who knew no sin at all, became sin for us, so that we       might become the righteousness of God. Grace has been defined as       "God's Riches At Christ's Expense". It seems like an uneven exchange;       He got our sin, and we got His Righteousness. With Christ becoming       the embodiment of sin on The Cross, God The Father could not even       look upon Him from the 6th to the 9th hour (noon to 3pm). But, The       Blood Of Jesus Cleanses From All Sin, to those who do "the one thing       God requires" (as noted above). At the Bema Judgment, while the issue       of sin won't even be considered, there will be rewards gained and lost,       and for the believer, that will determine their standing in eternity.               At the Second Coming, these things happen:              1) The Beast (the Antichrist) and The False Prophet are captured alive,       and thrown immediately into The Lake Of Fire while still in their mortal       life. The evil of these two is so great, that their guilt is beyond       dispute, and there isn't a need for a further audience before Christ at       The Great White Throne Judgment, which will occur after the Millenium       Of Peace.               2) Satan and his demonic hordes are captured, bound, and placed into       the bottomless pit. They will be the first ones to join The Beast and       The False Prophet in The Lake Of Fire after they are released from the       bottomless pit at the end of the Millennium. They then raise up an army        "as numerous as the sand of the sea" to try to defeat Christ, but the       rebellion doesn't even get off the ground. God zaps them all with fire       from Heaven, and they are annihilated.              3) Christ destroys the contending armies at Armageddon in the Valley of       Jezreel, who were also going after the believing remnant of Jews in       Petra, Jordan. Just before this, the believing remnant of Jews has "a       spiritual regeneration", noted in Isaiah 53, and they call on Jesus to        save them from certain destruction.              4) Christ's Feet stand on The Mount Of Olives, and it splits, forming       a wide valley, where the non-combatants of the Earth will be gathered       in The Sheep And Goats Judgment. There, the sheep (those who believed        on Christ, and protected the Jews) will be ushered into the Millennial        Kingdom (the horribly ravaged Earth will be restored to a place of        incredible beauty, not seen since Creation)...while the goats (those        who spurned the Gospel, took the Mark Of The Beast during the Tribulation,        or who persecuted the Jews and Christians) will be cast off the Earth        into outer darkness, to await their final sentencing at The Great White       Throne Judgment.               During the Millennium, life will be as it was meant to be...with       The Lord ruling over all creation, and His Word will be Law. While       the period will start with only believers on the Earth (just like it       was after The Flood Of Noah), at the end of the Millennium, a large       amount will rise up to rebel against Christ one final time.                At that point, the living believers are raptured, and removed off       the planet, while God destroys all the rebels with Divine Fire, and       then sets the Earth on fire with a fervent heat, to purify the planet,       so tainted with sin. He then makes a New Heaven, New Earth, and New       Jerusalem.               Then, comes the saddest day in all of history...when all those who       died from the days of Adam and Eve, until the end of the Millennium...       who did not receive God's Provision from sin, will stand before Him        at The Great White Throne Judgment. Everything they've ever done, in        thought, word, or deed...whether in secret or in the open...will be        revealed, and there will be no question of guilt. All of these will        then be compelled to bow before Christ, and confess that He is Lord...       just before they are cast into The Lake Of Fire, to be tormented day        and night for all eternity.               And, that's Bible Prophecy 101 for today. :)              Daryl              ...
