   When you see the white bar with "OS/2" next to it during boot, press Alt-F1.   
   You will go to a boot screen where you can boot up using the original   
   CONFIG.SYS from a command prompt and edit the current CONFIG.SYS using TEDIT.   
   I'm surprised you didn't know that.
