   i can tollerate xfce a little. that's what i usually install.    
   on linux i prefer the cli.   on windows i LOOK at the gui. but i have   ssh    
   sessions open, cmd prompt open and other junk.   
      
   ... Nothing like a bribe to get things rolling.
