I think I told you about the DC       to Daylight Rig that was at Hamvention a few years ago for $20,000+. Now,       we could outfit a nice shack for that (or even buy a nice pre-owned car).       But to me, $20,000+ for one rig, is overkill.               SD> Did I tell you that I have a script that allows one (with a paid        SD> subscription to QRZ.com) to look up callsigns at QRZ? With FreeBSD, I        SD> can run that as a "door" to allow lookups. Actually, if your OS can        SD> run cURL, you should be able to use it. Pretty neat stuff.               I run Windows 10 32-bit for the BBS...it's on my late Mom's computer.       I still have one of the last QRZ Callsign CD's, and have that on the       BBS for "nostalgia". I would love to have a similar setup for current       callsigns (I'm a premium subscriber, and use them and eQSL for data       for running Netlogger). Right now, I just set up a simple door, telling       users where they can find ham radio callsigns.               Daryl, WX4QZ              ...
