|    Virtual Modem for a DOS BBS    |
|    21 Jun 20 09:39:14    |
TID: Mystic BBS 1.12 A46       MSGID: 1:227/114 1821dafa       TZUTC: -0400       Im working to get my old DOS/Modem BBS platform (Spitfire) back online for       posterity. Ive tried NetSerial with no success. Im able to get a connect       but then NetSerial locks up and the service shuts down. I searched and found       two virtual modem apps, one is Virtual Modem 2.2.2 produced by fabulatech.        This program works wonderfully but is only sold in a pairs at $139 each ($280       to get the board back up). The other, Virtual Modem Pro, like NetSerial does       not work.              Id like to get NetSerial working as its the only free option and looks like a       much better app than the others. Any thoughts or suggestions for a fix for       Netserial or another free (or at least cheaper) app would be greatly       appreciated. Please note that Spitfire is not fossil aware so I dont think I       will be able to get it running under Mystic or Netfoss and net3bbs.              Thanks in advance!              .\\ichael Batts       a.k.a. stizzed (because, why not?)       SysOp, The ROCK BBS III              --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A46 2020/06/11 (Windows/32)        * Origin: The ROCK III - therockbbs.net - TELNET:10023 (1:227/114)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 18/200 90/1 120/340 601 123/131 226/30 227/114 702       SEEN-BY: 229/101 424 426 452 664 1014 240/5832 249/206 317 400 317/3       SEEN-BY: 322/757 342/200 633/280       PATH: 227/114 229/426           |
