MSGID: 1:261/1304 5EEE0D30       PID: WWIV BBS v. 424        TID: WWIVTOSS v. 1.52               JC> Telnet options are negotiated after the connection. Binary mode is       JC> something the server would request and the client would respond to.       JC>        JC> One way to test Mystic specifically is if you use the outbound telnet to       JC> connect to your own Mystic BBS again. The transfers still work even when       JC> you connect through multiple telnet connections. I just tested that again       JC> in the latest Windows build and the transfers were working fine with       JC> NetRunner Zmodem.              Yes, doing a double telnet from Mystic back to Mystic and then doing a       transfer works. That is the only example of the double telnet that works to       my knowledge for transfers.              It apparently has something to do with the telnet negotiation process. Maybe       other BBS platforms are sending the negotiation to just one of the telnet       processes. Not sure, but it appears to have something to do with auto       negotiation. Just trying to figure out if there is a way around this somehow.              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.52         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 18/200 90/1 114/705 120/340 601 123/131 226/30 227/114       SEEN-BY: 227/702 229/101 424 426 452 664 1014 240/5832 249/206 317       SEEN-BY: 249/400 298/25 305/3 317/3 322/757 342/200 633/280       PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 261/38 712/848 770/1 317/3 229/426           |
