So a new user logs into my BBS today and elects to "Chat with the Sysop".   
      
   This computer is connected to a 4-channel audio mixer that allows me to have   
   some other things plugged in, and it happened that I was listening to music on   
   headphones. The Sysop-Page feature beeps the PC speaker, which I didn't    
   realize until now, maps to the audio driver *at full freaking blast*, and    
   because NOBODY has paged me since... I think 2004, I forgot what it sounded    
   like.   
      
   So I get a blast of PC audio noise in my ear because I left that Line channel   
   mixed on high volume, probably in a drunken stupor, and when I went to answer   
   the page, the person said "I AM A NOOB".   
      
   So... okay... Welcome to my BBS, you'll find all kinds of stuff here, etc etc,   
   told my story and all I got was "HOW DO I EXIT CHAT?".   
      
   Before I could reply with "Turn off your caps lock key for starters", he    
   disconnected...   
      
   Anyone else here still getting Sysop page-requests on your boards?
