   Telegrafix developed RIP, not Frank LaRosa (former SearchLight author).   
   And the other protocol you are talking about is NAPLPS, which was partly   
   developed by Prodigy (wow, if I remember Prodigy, then I _AM_ old   
   *msiles*) and used by BBS packages such as TurBoard.
