03 Feb 16 14:24, you wrote to MATT MUNSON:               JC> There are other alternatives, especially assuming just about everyone        JC> uses BINKP now. What capabilities of IREX are you worried about        JC> losing?              The first thing that comes to mind for me, of the irex many useful features is       a built in file request processor. If one perfers to use Frontdoor or Allfix       built-in request processor, you can just plugin the correct command line       switches. Then irex will use whatever freq program when it receive a netmail       from a node with the frq flag in the kludge line. Irex pdf manual explains it       pretty darn good.. I admit that very few ever use it his days, never the less       it does come in handy for systems running a network or even sending out       password protected data via binkd or ftp. It can also do the samething with       email.       --- GoldED+/W32-MSVC 1.1.5-b20150715        * Origin: flupH - fluph.darktech.org (1:275/91)    |
