   Dear Atreyu

Thank you again for your answer, which in my opinion gives rise to at least
2 common approaches. 1. I love the variety of computers in the mailboxes.
A sysop with a Commodore C64/C128, Amiga, Atari ST has just as much
right to exist as anyone else! What counts is the shared hobby! And these
sysops can also exchange their experiences on this forum. Cause it is divided
into general and special and can be expanded as the Sysop's required it!
Living democracy it's called I think. And again could be bundled at one point!

   2. In the lists of OS's, Linux is an operating system like any other. But
again... this forum is not about one or "the Linux Sysops", but about "us
sysops!" With all the "colors" and "facets" that this hobby brings with it!
I like to compare this to Apple and Andriod! Apple users don't want Android
and vice versa. It therefore makes no sense to convince one side of the other
side. But what connects both of them. They have a smartphone! And there
lies the approach! And by that I actually meant everyone who is interested,
regardless of which operating system and which BBS software they use to
operate their system! In my opinion, this point of view is not very effective
and leads to isolation. It isn't really hard to make a turnaround and eyes
   wide open....

And I didn't write that this idea of mine is the newest and the
   best in the
world. As I have already written!!! This forum could be a regular meeting
place for Sysops. But doesn't have to! In any case, I have no intention of
ending this again. It doesn't cost me much and is free for everyone else.

Whether or not always depends on a certain curiosity, general interest and
acceptance by the general public. In this case the Sysop's and interested
User. There will always be one side that extends a offering hand, which
others may or may not accept!

I can't really see any harm here, but I can see a possible benefit for the
cause, not for me! And I'm old enough that setbacks are a part of life!
Then you just get up again, straighten your "crown" and carry on!
   Just for our shared hobby!

There it was again, our commonality!

Sometimes live could be so easy :-)

lol I'm smiling right now and don't be angry with me Atreyu.
But such discussions are also absolutely suitable for the forum!

Have a nice day Atreyu and to everyone reading along
