   You should be able to set up the BinkD mailer there in Iowa to get and send    
   echomail and netmail - the bandwidth is incredibly low for messages, so it    
   shouldn't cause a problem. As far as using a remote server, sure you can do    
   that but it's probably going to cost you some. Also, if you still have a   
   modem    
   around, you can dial up or have mail delivered to you from a number of   
   systems,    
   mine included. I send a bunch of modem feeds mail/files since I've already   
   got    
   a dialing plan in use that enables free calls all over the U.S.
