Hello,                     I'm using an external mailing-list manager (mailman) and I want to exchange my       conferences with this mailman.              I'm testing the process with my test conference (ESP.PRUEBAS).              I have defined the [listin] and [listout] sections in my inet.bbb file.              ===cut, cut, cut===       [listin]       esp.pruebas@lists.thefreebay.net,,:ESP.PRUEBAS       [listout]       ESP.PRUEBAS:gateway2@fido.beholderbbs.org,esp.pruebas@lists.thefreebay.net       ===cut, cut, cut===              Where:              esp.pruebas@lists.thefreebay.net is the email address used by mailman to       forward all new emails to their subscribers.              ESP.PRUEBAS is the name of the conference related to testing, etc.              gateway2@fido.beholderbbs.org is the email address that is redirected to the       BBBS SMTP daemon.                     The import process is correct. All mail originated on the mailman side is       forwarded to bbbs and is correctly imported to the ESP.PRUEBAS conference.              But when in my bbbs system I generate new messages in ESP.PRUEBAS, and I       execute the outgoing process to my real smtp server to export them:              bbbs bsmtp r mailbox.thefreebay.net              I get the next message:              ===cut, cut, cut===       Trying to connect to ESMTP server mailbox.thefreebay.net. Connected to server.       Hardware / Software Failure. Please report to SysOp. Bogo Meditation #2/0:       Can't open file "/opt/bbbs/main/ffffffffffffffff.dat" for "ub"!       Bogo Meditation was caused by missing file.       ===cut, cut, cut===              There are not files with the naming "ffffffffffffffff.dat" or naming       "ffffffffffffffff.txt". If I try to generate these files manually the error       disappears but (obviously) no mail is exported, and nothing is wrote on these       files (size 0). Right now I've deleted the "ffffffffffffffff" files.                     On the smtp server side I see on my log only the open and close events for the       connection of bbbs:              ===cut, cut, cut===       Apr 27 11:34:42 mailbox postfix/smtpd[26456]: connect from 62.Re       -88-2-234.staticIP.rima-tde.net[88.2.234.62]       Apr 27 11:34:48 mailbox postfix/smtpd[26456]: lost connection after EHLO from       62.Red-88-2-234.staticIP.rima-tde.net[88.2.234.62]       Apr 27 11:34:48 mailbox postfix/smtpd[26456]: disconnect from 62       Red-88-2-234.staticIP.rima-tde.net[88.2.234.62]       ===cut, cut, cut===                     What can I do or try?              Somebody is using bbbs to exchange their mail with external smtp servers? Have       you the "ffffffffffffffff" files on your message base folder? Where am I wrong?              Thank you in advance.              -       A reveure!!       Enric              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Eye Of The Beholder BBS - The Fidonet's Corsair (2:343/107)    |
