I once wrote a complete manual (in norwegian) for setting up DOS doors in BBBS
for DOS (I did run BBBS under DOS/Desqview until Kim made an NT/windows
version) including the discription of different types of drop files.....

As I said, DOS doors will not work in Windows, there is no way that the OS
will let an application (BBBS) pass "DOS box information" to the TCPIP stack.
End of story. Kim has explained it to me, and there is nothing that can be
   done about it appearently.

   > :) Well, I remember having to do that as well when I was running OS/2.. all
   > the doors I had registred were no good anymore
