   If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to create a netmail or
   echomail message without logging in as a user, is that correct?

   You can do that with ./bbbs btxt2bbs in a script or batch file...

   Usage: BBBS BTXT2BBS [areaname] [txtfile] {/F from user} {/T to user} {/S subj}

   bbbs btxt2bbs netmail file.txt /f Janis Kracht /t Gert Andersen /s 2:230/150
   test

   The line above wraps, but you can see that subj. would include your address
   in my example, like:

   /s 2:230/150 test

   To send messages in an echomail area, you use the areaname, instead of
   "netmail".. and you wouldn't need the recipient's fidoadress then for an
   echomail message in the subj. line.

   The script could call bbbs with this command, then the script could pack the
   messages and send them out, with ./bbbs bogus r (scan) then your mailer can
   just send the messages out.

   Does this sound like what you want to do?

   Take care,
   Janis
