   I do, but for linux..I think Jame's idea of doing it in bz would be a better   
   solution since it could be used across all OS's though.   
      
   This is the relative part of my script.. it replaces the diff line   
   (nodediff.a??)

   Hope this gets you to decent start - I know sed exists for Windows, but I'm   
   not familiar really with the Windows date command :(  date +%j is what gives   
   you the julian date under linux.
