Hi Mark,              >>>> btick wil not work as it should. I coudl too like bbbs to just       >>>> autocreate echomail and file areas when it is a save way that       >>>> nothing is getting directly to bbbs from outside.              >>> I'm not sure what you mean here, sorry.....              >> Just I could like bbs to do autocreate echomail and fileareas.              >> You can autocreate msg areas, it's easy.              > [trim]              > i think he's thinking of autoadding new areas like fastecho and others can do       > to their configs and to the bbses they support... no .NA or similar needed...                     Yes, he can autoadd areas without a .na, or whatever file.. It's controlled by       a section of external.bbb like this:              [badecho]       1:140/1 . 1:261/38 ISO ISO 0 X fido. [Downlinks to include when tossed]              That was the first example I gave him to autoadd. So anything new from       1:140/1 (one of my uplinks) gets auto added when I tell bbbs to import the       stuff.              > no blank areas needed... the feed is configured to be able to auto-add new              You only need empty areas if you don't have any set up already.. I always       create maybe 5 more anytime I auto areas. All it takes is pressing u a number       of times to add "unnamed" areas in the Bcfg4->Global->Confs section.              > yes, even allfix can do this in this same manner and it is one i know that              Wonderful, but we're talking about BBBS here |
