I coudl too like bbbs to just        >>> autocreate echomail and file areas when it is a save way that        >>> nothing is getting directly to bbbs from outside.              >> I'm not sure what you mean here, sorry.....              > Just I could like bbs to do autocreate echomail and fileareas.               JK> You can autocreate msg areas, it's easy.              [trim]              i think he's thinking of autoadding new areas like fastecho and others can do       to their configs and to the bbses they support... no .NA or similar needed...       no blank areas needed... the feed is configured to be able to auto-add new       areas and an unconfigured area starts coming in so FE and other tossers simply       add the new area to the configs with the echotag... if a valid ".NA" type file       is available, they can pull the area description from it but otherwise the       area description would be the areatag as well... default settings for the       newly added area are pulled from either the tosser's config where they may be       defined or they are copied from an existing area in the bbs' config that is       desgnated as the area to use for these defaults...              yes, even allfix can do this in this same manner and it is one i know that       pulls the defaults for an area from an existing area in the bbs' configs ;)              FMail is another mail tosser that can do this auto-adding of new areas but it       is limited when compared to other tossers... i think GEcho is another one with       this ability, too... i'm fairly sure that IMail and maybe even IREX can do       this... the problem is the list of bbses supported... if one is running old       school, generally there are no problems... i have no clue if the husky stuff       can do this for those ""hamstrung"" by *nix O:) O:) O:)              )\/(ark               * Origin: (1:3634/12)    |
